Two people were injured and four families lost their homes in a Clinton apartment fire that crews had under control in fewer than five minutes.
A spokesperson from the Clinton Fire Department said on Friday, March 21, 2014 crews arrived at a two story apartment building on South 2nd Street to find smoke coming from the first floor. Crews were on site shortly before 8 p.m. and were able to put out the fire in three and-a-half minutes.
According to the department, four families were displaced by the fire and two people suffered injuries. One person was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
