A new superintendent has been hired by the North Scott Community School District.

At the board meeting Tuesday, March 11, 2014 the members unanimously approved Joe Stutting from Wisconsin for the position, according to the minutes of the meeting.

A flyer released by the district indicated that they were looking for someone to start on or before July 1, 2014.

Stutting was previously the superintendent of Sturgeon Bay Schools in Wisconsin. Stutting will be replacing Jeff Schwiebert, who landed another superintendent job at a school district in Minnesota.

Schwiebert was hired by Sartell – St. Stephen Schools near St. Cloud, Minnesota.
