Q.C. natives bring home gold from competing in Sochi

Two Quad City natives struck gold with the U.S.A. Paralympic Sled Hockey team in Russia.

Kevin McKee from Davenport and Andy Yohe from Bettendorf helped bring home the gold after their team defeated Russia in the Gold Medal Game on Saturday, March 15, 2014.

The two traveled to Sochi to compete in the Paralympic games. After a week of preliminary rounds and a semifinal game, U.S.A. defeated Russia 1-0.
