A vehicle with a child inside was reportedly stolen from a gas station north of Boulder, Colorado, causing authorities to issue an Amber Alert and leading police on a high-speed chase.

KDVR reported that around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 police issued an Amber Alert for 4-year-old Allen Chavarria-Rodriguez, who was inside the stolen vehicle.

Police began chasing the driver, later identified as 28-year-old Ryan Stone, southbound toward Denver. After the chase, Stone was taken into custody, accused of kidnapping and carjacking.
