Five arrested in connection with Davenport apartment meth bust

Five people were taken into custody on drug-related charges in connection with a meth bust in Davenport.

According to Scott County court records, police uncovered a methamphetamine operation inside a Davenport apartment on Main Street. Shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 police searched the apartment and found more than five grams of meth. Police also found other items often used to make meth, including coffee filters, HCL generators, cold packs, and lithium battery components.

Jail records show that 32-year-old Melissa Miller, 25-yearold John Sullivan, 28-year-old Randy Kirk, 25-year-old Kevin Cunningham, and 32-year-old Jarad Postell were all taken into custody on Saturday, March 8. All five were held in the Scott County Jail.
