More than 300 Davenport students from several area schools showcased their talent in a show choir extravaganza.

The March 3 "Show Choir Show Off" performances at the Adler Theatre in Davenport were a combination of singing and dancing, and were more about having fun than actually competing.  Show choirs from Davenport Central, Davenport North and Davenport West high schools performed.

"We're performing here, mostly, just for the community.  It's not a competition like all of our other performances; but it's just really fun to see all the other schools we live near, and just support each other," said Davenport North High School freshman Destiny Ellingsworth.

This was the 16th year for the annual Show Choir Show Off.
