Two workers were reportedly injured in an explosion at a grain facility just south of Warren, Illinois.

Two workers were reportedly injured in an explosion at a grain facility just south of Warren, Illinois.

Jo Daviess County Sheriff Kevin Turner said the blast was reported just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Gavilon Group facility, 6979 Route 84.

Initial reports indicated several people were injured in the explosion.

Two Gavilon employees were reportedly treated at the scene by Warren County EMS.  The injured workers were a 33-year-old man from Nora, Illinois and a 49-year-old man from Lena.

The Warren facility is one of 144 grain storage facilities that are part of Gavilon Group.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was investigating the incident.
