UnityPoint Health Trinity will celebrate its 10th birthday on Tuesday, February 18th, at its Bettendorf campus.

The hospital opened on February 18th, 2004. Since then, the hospital has had a 76% increase in its number of patient days. It's also doubled the number of admissions to its hospital since 2004. The surgical visits have more than doubled at the hospital. There were about 2,000 surgical visits in 2004 and more than 6,000 by the end of 2013.

Bettendorf Mayor Bob Gallagher is calling Tuesday "Trinity Bettendorf Day." Trinity President and CEO Rick Seidler will be on hand as well to congratulate the employees who have been at the hospital since 2004.

Monday, the hospital had some of its employees sign beams at the new Heart Center in Rock Island. That project likely won't be done at the Rock Island campus until the spring of 2015.
