Three teens from Sterling, Illinois were arrested for breaking and entering a business overnight.
Whiteside County Deputies say the crime was still going on when they arrived at the business on Westwood Drive in rural Sterling. According to a press release from the Whiteside County Sheriff's Department, when the teens saw police they tried to run away.
After a short foot chase, police arrested 18-year-old Jakob Battles and then later tracked down 19-year-olds Gary Rimington and Branden Martin.
All three are being held at the Whiteside County Jail charged with burglary.
