The City of Rock Falls says a city-wide boil order has been lifted.
The Rock Falls Police Department made the announcement on Sunday, February 16th, 2014 around 7:30am.
The press release says the water is now safe to drink.
A problem at the sewage plant on Thursday, February 13th, 2014 cut off water to the entire community for about 24 hours. It was restored on Friday, February 14th, 2014, but residents have had to use bottled water or boil their water until today.
