Police searching for armed robbery suspect

Police were looking for a man wanted for armed robbery after officials say he and another man were shot during a Moline home invasion.

Police were looking for a man wanted for armed robbery after officials say he and another man were shot during the commission of a Moline home invasion.

According to the Moline Police Department, Ryan Baker from Rock Island and Alberto Herrera from Davenport, both 19 years old, suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds during a home invasion on 11th Avenue. The two men were taken to an area hospital for treatment on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 and had since been released.

Police said they were searching for Herrera, who is wanted for armed robbery. His bond was set at $200,000.

Officials say Baker was charged with home invasion and armed robbery and was in custody at the Rock Island County Jail. He was held on $200,000 bond.

Another man, 21-year-old Martin Guzman from Rock Island, was also charged with home invasion and armed robbery and was taken to the Rock Island County Jail. His bond was set at $250,000.

The department said that a 15-year-old suspect was also charged with home invasion and armed robbery and was detained at Mary Davis Correctional Facility. Additional charges were pending against two more juvenile suspects.

Police said 20-year-old Kevin Robinson from Moline was later located and arrested for felon in possession of a firearm. He was in custody at the Rock Island County Jail held on $100,000 bond.
