Months after appearing on a reality show that revamped the restaurant, Goombazz Big City Eatzz in Rock Island closed its doors.
The restaurant on 18th Ave. was closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. In October of 2013 The Food Network did an overhaul of the space on a show called Restaurant Impossible, which aired in December.
According to the show, the restaurant was $300,000 in debt.
There was no word from the owners about what caused the shut down.
