Moline woman’s death called ‘suspicious’

Police say the death of a woman found in a house in Moline is suspicious.

Police were sent to 250 53rd Street at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 after someone called 911 and reported finding a woman's body at the house.

Police say the woman is 39-year-old Michelle Woods.

"Subsequent investigation revealed that the death is suspicious," said a statement from Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities.

An autopsy was scheduled for Friday, February 14.
