A Dixon man was arrested for reportedly selling “Molly” and marijuana to an undercover police officer.
According to the Dixon Police Department, 18-year-old Jordan McThenia was taken into custody February 10, 2014 related to an ongoing investigation of illegal drug sales.
Police said in July and August of 2013 McThenia sold less than one gram of a substance containing Methylone, better known as “Molly” and about 14 grams of substance containing marijuana.
Officials said McThenia was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of cannabis 10-30 grams, and unlawful possession of cannabis 10-30 grams.
McThenia was taken to the Lee County Jail. Police said they expected to make more arrests.
