A Minnesota bait shop owner says a “Big Mouth Billy Bass” may have saved his business from a burglar.
Tom Allen arrived to find the door had been kicked in at the Hooked on Fish bait shop in Rochester on Monday, February 3, 2014. He says the deadbolt was even damaged.
But nothing was missing.
Allen says he thinks the singing “Big Mouth Billy Bass,” hung near the door so it is triggered when customers enter and leave, probably scared the burglar away as it began to sing “Take Me to the River.”
