The 20th annual Iowa Illinois Regional Auto Show kicks off in Davenport Friday, February 7th, 2014.
Thursday night, organizers gave $30,000 worth of scholarship money to five area students. Dealers have already set up 150 cars inside the RiverCenter. There are 28 domestic and import manufacturing companies showing off cars. Auto dealers from 18 different counties in the Quad City area will be there. Event organizers say they’re at maximum capacity.
“You’ll see every type of vehicle here,” even coordinator Susan Shrader said. “You’ll see cars and trucks and SUVs, vans, crossovers. We also have a luxury row, so you can dream a little.”
The Auto Show is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It is also from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $8 for adults, $3 for children. Kids six and under are free.
