The Corporate Challenge for the Student Hunger Drive kicks off Monday, February 3rd, 2014.

The adults compete in the corporate challenge. 36 area businesses compete to see who can raise the most amount of food.

In 2013, the Student Hunger Drive did not have a Corporate Challenge. Organizers only held the Student Challenge. The students collected about 520,000 pounds of food for the River Bend Foodbank in 2013. In 2012, the drive collected 767,000 pounds of food.

The River Bend Foodbank is also no longer  in Moline. The Foodbank is now at 4010 Kimmel Drive in Davenport. The food will support the Backpack Program at the Foodbank. It provides students with nutritious food each Friday during the school year.

The drive will run through February 28th. The Awards Celebration will be March 5th. To donate to the Hunger Drive, click here.
