Genesis Health System is opening up a new health enrollment center in downtown Davenport.

Genesis held an opening ceremony on Thursday, January 30th at their building on 2nd and Main Street. For the next two months, Genesis will be renting the old Snap Fitness building from developer Amrit Gill. Gill will be turning the building into a residential and office space over the spring and summer.

Genesis needs to use the building in order to help people sign up for Obamacare. They only need the building through March because the enrollment period ends March 31st. More than two million people have signed up so far.

UnityPoint Health Trinity has signed about 1,200 people up for Obamacare so far, and they are still taking appointments. You can call 888-275-5235 to schedule an appointment.
