Sterling man wanted in connection with home invasion

Police said they have an arrest warrant for a Sterling, Illinois man in connection with a home invasion that happened in rural Rock Falls.

Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office Detective John Booker said the home invasion happened during the early-morning hours Thursday, January 23, 2014.  Booker said a weapon was involved.

Evidence recovered at the crime scene led police to identify the home invasion suspect as 42-year-old Dominique DeJesus, whose last known address was in Sterling, Illinois.

DeJesus was described as 6-feet 3-inches tall, weighing 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
