Police say two people who reported being robbed in a parking lot went from being victims to being alleged criminals.

Shane Yetter, 27, of New London and Trevor French, 20, of Burlington, reportedly told police they were robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of Casey’s General Store in Winfield, Iowa.  The pair reported the robbery at about 2:30 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2014.

Police suspected 19-year-old Junior Ponce and 20-year-old Alezzandro Campbell, both of Wapello, as well as a juvenile girl, of committing the robbery.  The three were arrested and each charged with second-degree robbery.

Then police arrested Yetter and French.  They were each charged with delivery of  a controlled substance (marijuana).

Jail records showed Campbell and Ponce were held in the Henry County, Iowa Jail.  Court records showed Campbell was released after posting $25,000 bond January 29, 2014.
