Dixon, Illinois Police were working to identify the person who allegedly used a gun to rob a Casey’s store.

Police said the store at 1401 West 4th Street was robbed at about 2 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014.  The suspect was reportedly armed with a handgun when they demanded and got money from the clerk.  The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash and then left the store on foot.

Police said they were unsure if the suspect was a man or a woman.  The suspect was about five feet tall and wore athletic pants with white stripes down the legs, a dark-colored sweatshirt or coat, gloves and a scarf or mask to cover most of their face.
