A boy alone in the street captured the attention of a Texas police officer, who decided to stop and do something that might be unexpected.
He played with the kid.
Sgt. Ariel Soltura took a couple of minutes out of his usual patrol duties when he noticed 10-year-old Jermaine Ford playing with a football by himself. He tossed the ball a few times with Jermaine, who says he’d like to play football someday.
The department posted the video on Facebook, with the fitting hashtag: #ReachThemBeforeTheWolvesDo.
