NEW YORK (CNN) — A small plane with engine trouble made a forced landing Saturday on a busy highway in the Bronx, leaving three people with minor injuries, authorities said.
The Piper PA-28 aircraft plane landed about 3:20 p.m near the 233rd Street exit on the Major Deegan Expressway, authorities said.
Fire Department spokesman Khalid Bayl said there were three injuries — which a police officials said apparently were minor.
There was no information on the number of persons on board, damage to the aircraft or traffic on the highway at the time of the landing, authorities said.
