Police: Galena woman is no longer considered ‘missing’

Updated on Friday, December 27, 2013 — A spokesperson from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office said Edwards is no longer considered a missing person.

Officials say it was determined that she left on her own free will and “no further police assistance is needed.”

A Galena woman has been reported missing after having last been seen at a Dubuque casino.

According to the Jo Daviess County Police Department, 53-year-old Kimberly M. Edwards has been missing since Friday, December 20, 2013. She reportedly left her Galena home heading for Dubuque and was last seen in the early afternoon at the Diamond Jo Casino.

Police said she was last seen wearing an orange jacket, blue jeans, tan boots, a black wig, and was carrying a large yellow purse. She is 5-feet 4-inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes.
