Something old, something new, something borrowed and something else, very unusual. A Davenport bride embraced her quirky side to have her dream wedding.

It was Erin Platt's dream wedding, with her dream ride, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

"It doesn't scream romance except in the case of Erin and Jason," said friend, Kelly Thompson.

Anyone who knows Erin, knows she has slight obsession with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

"I've kind of just have had a thing for it. I call it the Wienermobile effect," said Erin.

Erin and her now Husband Jason Platt started a Facebook campaign in hopes of getting Oscar Mayer's attention, which they did.

"When we were talking about the wedding I said 'wouldn't it be really great if the Wienermobile would come and take us from the church to the reception,'" said Erin.

Jason was fully on board.

"I've known her for 17 years and I've seen her obsession, love, for the Wienermobile all this time. It was no skin off my back," said Jason.

Although it's not your typical wedding ride, friends say it's the perfect symbol for Erin and Jason's relationship.

"It's a symbol of their quirky sense of humor and how much they love each other and how much they allow each other quirks to shine through."

They say their excited their new life together with hotdogs and condiments not far behind.

Despite Erin's love for Oscar Mayer, she says they will not be serving hotdogs at the reception.
