The Davenport School District is planning to purchase a new building.
The school district’s Board of Directors has plans to buy a former medical building on Marquette Street in Davenport to be used for its alternative high school.
To transform the building into an educational facility, it will undergo renovations. The goal is to have it ready by the fall of 2014.
