Marines gather toys for Toys for Tots program

The Marines picked up toys from WQAD News 8 Tuesday, December 10th, 2013. It's a part of the Toys for Tots program.

The Marines take the toys back to the old Rock Island County Market Grocery Store on 24th Street in Rock Island. News 8 collected toys for the program throughout November. We also had a day long drop-off event on December 3rd.

The Marines will distribute toys to those who registered for the program on Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd.  The toys will be distributed from the old County Market Grocery Store, 2252 24th Street.
