For anyone who would like to offer their condolences for the passing of Nelson Mandela, a local funeral home is offering the opportunity to the Quad City community.
A condolence book will be available at the Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center in Moline Monday, December 9 through Friday, December 13. The public is invited to stop by the funeral home any of these days from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. to sign the book. The book will be sent to Mandela’s family.
A tribute to Mandela has been placed at Trimble’s website. Site visitors can leave messages of support there as well.
“Since our funeral home provides a place where people can come together, share, grieve, remember, celebrate, and say good-bye, it is fitting for us to offer an opportunity for the community to express its admiration, respect, and sympathy for the this great man,” said Reid Trimble of Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center.
The funeral home is located at 601 21st Street in Moline.
