Moline Township held its Annual Holiday Dinner and packed the house.

For its 9th rear running, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 about 130 people gathered at the Moline Township Activity Center for a holiday meal and local entertainment.

Moline Township Supervisor Don Johnston said the event is a Christmas party for clients. They ate traditional holiday foods like turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. The Alleman Singers were there to entertain the attendees with holiday tunes.

“It’s the one time a year they get a hot meal and a party,” Johnston said. “Everybody will leave with a gift.”

He said the main gift is a microwave oven and smaller gifts include bags of cookies and candy.

“It’s just a grand time had by all,” he said.
