Scott County Park will be closed for the first weekend in December 2013 for the annual controlled deer hunt.
Fifty hunters were granted licenses to hunt December 7 and 8, 2013 at the park. The licenses only apply to antlerless deer. Only hunters who have passed the shooter’s proficiency test and attended the hunter safety session conducted by the Scott County Conservation Board can receive licenses.
Scott County Park is closed to the public during the controlled deer hunt. The park will be closed Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2013.
The park will reopen for public use at 7 a.m. Monday, December 9.
