The Rochester Rockets took home the 4A State Championship against the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The two teams fought for the title at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb, Illinois on Friday, November 29, 2013.
The first half ended with Rochester in the lead at 8-0.
In the third quarter the Maple Leafs was driving for a tying score and fumbled, Rochester recovered the fumble. Rochester scored again in the fourth quarter leading at 16-0. In the fourth Geneseo racked up eight points for a final score of 16-8.
The Geneseo Maple Leafs finished their 2013 season 12-2 and the 4A runner up.
