In spirit of Black Friday blood donors can snag a deal in Davenport.

On Friday, November 29, 2013 and Saturday, November 30 the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is offering a free movie voucher to people who donate blood, according to Public Relations Representative Kirby Winn.

The blood drive will be held at the Putnam Museum in Davenport and lasts from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday and 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Winn said the drive is aimed at keeping up on blood supply during the Thanksgiving holiday when many regular donors are busy with family, shopping, out of town, or have other things on their minds.

β€œThe vouchers are also a thank-you to those you do donate,” Winn said.

The movie vouchers are good for films played on the Giant Screen Theater at the Putnam Museum.
