Police said two men fired shots after they broke into a home in Clinton, Iowa.

Police said two men fired shots after they broke into a home in Clinton, Iowa.

According to the Clinton Police Department on Thursday, November 21, 2013 shortly after 7 p.m. officers responded to a robbery in the 800 block of 4th Avenue South in Clinton.

The robbery victim said two men, armed with a handgun, came into his home and “discharged a firearm while they were inside,” according to police.  The two suspects then fled.  Police did not say whether anything was taken from the home.

Officers confirmed shots had been fired inside the home.

No injuries were reported.

Police said the first suspect is a thin black man with a light complexion, around 35 to 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie and a dark-colored baseball cap.  The second suspect was described as a thin black man with a dark complexion. in his late teens or early twenties.  He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie with short, braided hair.
