The American Red Cross of the Quad Cities will send three more volunteers down to Central Illinois Thursday, November 21st, 2013.

On Sunday, November 17th, 2013, the American Red Cross sent two volunteers from the Quad City area to Central Illinois. Monday, they sent down two more people.

The volunteers left from the American Red Cross building in Moline around 9 a.m. They headed to the Quad City International Airport Thursday morning. These three volunteers are flying to Central Illinois.

There are a total of 21 volunteers from the six chapters of the American Red Cross from the Midwest River Region. 15 of those volunteers are from the Quad City Chapter.

The volunteers will be in Central Illinois for two to three weeks. To donate to the American Red Cross, call 1-800-REDCROSS, text Redcross to 90999, or you can donate online.
