A group of friends and neighbors in Rock Island have been collecting clothes for people in the Peoria area. After multiple trips to deliver donations, they've now switched to a bigger need, cleaning supplies.

"They might be two hours away, but it could have been us. I would just like to think people would do it for us," said Racheal Richardson, who is collecting donations.

The donation location Richardson and her group had planned on, had already filled up and they need to find a second drop off point in Peoria. Members of the Washington Chamber of Commerce then collect those donations and distribute them as needed.

Richardson says she plans on planning another trip. Anyone wanting to donate can contact her on Facebook.
