Davenport fire crews responded to multiple simultaneous fires in a Davenport neighborhood.
A lawnmower at a house and a car inside a garage were reported on fire at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
Davenport Fire Marshal Mike Hayman later said as crews fought the initial fire in the 2000 block of Lillie Ave., they discovered two more fires further down the alley.
Firefighters were also sent to a reported car fire in the 2000 block of Marquette Street.
“In total, there were three cars and two garages that were ignited. One car was destroyed by the fire,” according to a spokesperson for the City of Davenport.
No injuries were reported. Investigators had not yet determined the cause of the fires.
