There is a chance that a Davenport committee could approve a development agreement with Dan Kehl on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013.

Kehl has proposed buying the Rhythm City Casino and moving it onto land. Monday, the Riverboat Development Authority changed the revenue figures that both they and the City of Davenport would receive. The RDA is the non-profit group that gives grants to community organizations.

The city of Davenport would now receive $2 million more over eight years than they would have in the past. The city and RDA members have disagreed over revenue amounts now since at least October. RDA members would like to move this process forward.

Tuesday night, Davenport council members raised concerns about this latest agreement. The committee needs eight votes Wednesday night to simply consider the agreement. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at Davenport's City Hall.
