Cambridge homeowner displaced after fire engulfs home

A Cambridge home caught fire, displacing the homeowner.

According to Cheryl Johnston from the American Red Cross, around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 a call came in that the home on 1st Street was engulfed in flames.

Johnston said nobody was home at the time of the fire.

Cambridge Fire Department was on scene and was assisted by Bishop Hill and Osco Fire Departments.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
