After he considered retiring in 2012, Bob "Mr. Thanksgiving" Vogelbaugh decided to continue his annual holiday dinner tradition instead.

Vogelbaugh will host the 43rd Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at SouthPark Mall.

As always, the dinner and transportation to it are being offered free of charge.

Mr. Thanksgiving accepts donations by mail.  They can be sent to 3716 35th Street, Apartment 3, Moline, Illinois 61265.

Donors can also contribute pies by dropping them off at the mall office Wednesday, November 27 or at the mall food court on Thanksgiving Day.

Vogelbaugh said he considered retiring after the 2012 dinner, but he reconsidered and decided to continue the tradition.

If you need transportation to the dinner, make reservations for pickup by calling MetroLink at (309) 788-3360 by noon Tuesday, November 26.
