With the holiday season right around the corner, a LeClaire store is selling candy canes, with a unique flavor.
Aunt Hatties Fanciful Emporium is selling bacon flavored candy canes, and apparently bacon is so popular the store has stocked up on a variety of bacon items.
“You wouldn’t believe how many people buy bacon,” said store owner Donna Walley. “I can’t even tell you how many bacon bandages I sell, how many bacon mints I sell every day.”
The candy canes are just an addition to numerous bacon things, including ornaments.
“Now we can have bacon for Christmas,” Walley said.
