The owners of an ice cream shop in Oregon have created a very seasonal ice cream flavor, but it’s not your typical sweet-tooth satisfier.
Salt and Straw in Portland makes a flavor called Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey, which is described as having all the flavors of roasted turkey and onions with a fried turkey skin brittle.
Thanksgiving turkey is not the only atypical ice cream they sell. They also have flavors called Mincemeat, Apple Cranberry Stuffing, and Pear with Blue Cheese.
The cousins who run the shop, Kim Malek and Tyler Malek also make less-daring flavors like Pumpkin Custard, Vanilla, Sea Salt with Caramel, and of course Chocolate with Gooey Brownies. Click here for a list of all the flavors.
