Two juveniles were arrested in connection with reports of tires slashed on more than 30 vehicles in the Durant, Iowa area.
Police said the vandalism was reported Saturday, November 9, 2013 and may have happened during the overnight hours. Thirty-one vehicles had one or more tires slashed. Some of the vehicles were parked in driveways and some were parked on the street.
A statement from the Durant Police Department said they charged two juveniles in connection with the investigation.
Police said citizens who came forward with information helped identify the suspects.
The two suspects are charged with second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary.
