Two people were hurt when their car was hit by farm implements being hauled by a tractor.

The wreck was reported just before 9 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 along U.S. Highway 20 about a half-mile west of North Main Street Road in rural Menominee, Illinois.

Jo Daviess County Sheriff Kevin Turner said the tractor, driven by 29-year-old Michael Bahl of Dubuque, Iowa, was pulling a trailer loaded with several manure-hauling implements when the tractor and trailer became detached.

The trailer rolled backwards down the hill and hit a car occupied by two people from Aurora, Illinois.  Afreen Ansari, 52, and Mohsin Ansari, 60, were both taken by ambulance to a hospital in Dubuque for treatment of their injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
