Hundreds walked in the Davenport Veterans Day Parade Monday, November 11th, 2013.

The event took place in downtown Davenport and started near 4th and Western. People lined both sides of the street to say thank you to the veterans. Hundreds both rode and walked in the event. The VFW 828 and the Davenport Central Army Junior Reserve walked on Monday.

Mayor Bill Gluba spoke after the parade ended at the Scott County Courthouse. The crowd sang The Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America too.
