A Burlington, Iowa man died when the vehicle he was driving was involved in a rollover crash.
Police said they were called to the wreck scene just after 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 on Y Camp Road at 90th Avenue.
Marc Buhmeyer, 46, was the driver and only occupant of a vehicle that rolled multiple times before it came to rest upside down in the creek bed of Dry Branch Creek. Investigators said it appeared Buhmeyer overcorrected and slid sideways before it hit the guardrail and began to roll.
Buhmeyer was ejected during the crash, and he was pinned beneath the overturned vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
No other vehicles were involved.
