An Illinois man was arrested after he allegedly used a Taser on his wife when she lost their bet over the Bears-Packers football game.

WITI reports a work assignment temporarily moved John and Nicole Grant, who are from Tinley Park, Illinois, to Mayville, Wisconsin.

Police determined the couple made a bet on the Bears-Packers NFL game played Monday night, November 4, 2013.  Nicole reportedly agreed to let her husband use a Taser on her if the Bears won the game.

After they watched the game at a bar, the Grants were reportedly outside in an alley when John Grant allegedly tased Nicole three times.

John and Nicole Grant were both reportedly intoxicated.   FDLReporter.com reported her blood alcohol level was .155 and his was .137.

WITI reports the stun gun Grant reportedly used relies on skin contact and can cause burning, pain and nerve damage.

Wisconsin law does not allow possession or use of stun guns.  Court records show Grant was charged with felony possession of an electric weapon.
