Authorities are investigating a Dixon, Illinois fire where a person was found dead.
According to the Dixon Rural Fire Department, on Friday, November 1, 2013, a fire began at a Dixon home on Clearview Road around 4:30 a.m. A person was found dead at the home.
The fire department said there was extensive damage to the home.
Nine departments were called for assistance, as well as the Red Cross, and the State Fire Marshal.
