More than 100,000 Snoopy Sno-Cone machines are recalled because of a loose rivet that could cause mouth or teeth injuries.

The manufacturer has reported 64 incidents of brass rivets falling out of the ice-shaving cylinder in the machines.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says that poses a risk of injury to the mouth or teeth of people who eat sno-cones made with the recalled machines.

No injuries have been reported.

About 102,000 Cra-Z-Art Snoopy Sno-Cone Machines are included in the recall.  The recalled machines were sold between September 2012 and July 2013 at Barnes & Noble, Target and Toys R Us stores nationwide and on Amazon.com.

The recalled machines have one of three batch numbers printed on the side of the packaging box and on the back of the white plastic doghouse.  The batch numbers involved are BCH003005A28-0812, BCHTRU001A17-0812 or BCHTRU004A16-0712.

“Consumers should stop using the recalled sno-cone machines immediately and contact LaRose Industries for a free repair kit, which includes a new ice shaving cylinder. Do not return the recalled sno-cone machines to the store where purchased.,” said the recall notice on the CPSC website.
