A traditional fall show came to Davenport for collectors and onlookers.

The Blackhawk Gem and Minerals Club held its annual fall show at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on October 26 and 27, 2013.

Variations of rocks, minerals, fossils, beads and more were displayed by the non-profit club.

“There are rock shops in town, but typically you’re going to see stuff here that you’re not going to be able to find anywhere else,” said Craig Moore from the Gem and Mineral Club. “They make unique gifts and a lot of people like to have the items.”

Some proceeds from the show’s sales are donated to a scholarship fund.
