Police say they found stolen firearms and items taken in a Des Moines County burglary when they served a narcotics warrant at an apartment in Burlington, Iowa.
Investigators served the warrant at an apartment in the 1400 block of Jefferson Street just before 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013.
“Located within the home were stolen firearms, an offensive weapon and items taken from a burglary in Des Moines County over the weekend,” said a statement from the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Department.
Anthony Darnell Herron, 22, was arrested and charged in connection with the case. Police said Herron was charged with misdemeanor first-degree harassment as well as felony counts of second-degree burglary, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
